The Los Angeles Dodgers rallied for a 14-7 victory over the San Francisco Giants in a thrilling extra-inning affair on Friday night at Oracle Park.
The Dodgers trailed 7-6 entering the top of the 11th inning, but they erupted for seven runs to secure the win. Will Smith's double drove in two runs to get the rally started, and Mookie Betts, Cody Bellinger, and Justin Turner all followed with RBI hits.
The Dodgers' bullpen was solid in relief, with Blake Treinen, Phil Bickford, and Chris Martin combining to allow just one hit and two walks in 3 1/3 innings. Kenley Jansen closed out the game with a perfect ninth inning to earn the save.
The victory improves the Dodgers' record to 24-13, while the Giants fall to 21-16. The two teams will face off again on Saturday night at Oracle Park.
