Georgia Southern Baseball Releases 2024 Schedule
On Friday afternoon, the Georgia Southern baseball team officially released its 2022 schedule. The Eagles will open their season on February 17th at home against the University of North Carolina Wilmington. Georgia Southern will play 27 home games this season, including a three-game series against the 21st-ranked Campbell baseball program from March 10th-12th.
Sun Belt Baseball Tournament Concludes
A special week at the Sun Belt Baseball Tournament came to an end on Monday. The tournament was held in Montgomery, Alabama, and saw the top teams in the conference compete for the championship. Georgia Southern was eliminated from the tournament in the semifinals by the University of Texas at Arlington.
Georgia Southern Baseball Looks to Build on 2022 Season
The Georgia Southern baseball program is looking to build momentum from its milestone 2022 season. The Eagles finished the season with a 34-22 record, which was their best record since 2014. Georgia Southern also made its first appearance in the NCAA Tournament since 2014.
