Brandon Aiyuk, the wide receiver for the San Francisco 49ers, has reportedly requested a trade from the team. According to sources, multiple teams have expressed interest in acquiring Aiyuk, who is considered one of the most talented young receivers in the NFL.

Aiyuk, whose last name is pronounced "EYE-yook," is only the second alum from Northern Nevada to play in the NFL. He was drafted by the 49ers in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft and has quickly become a key part of the team's offense.

In the 2022 season, Aiyuk caught 56 passes for 819 yards and five touchdowns. He also rushed for 18 yards and a touchdown. Aiyuk is under contract for the upcoming 2024 NFL season at a cost of $14.1 million.
